Code Of Conduct

As with other organisations this Club has introduced an Adult Code Of Conduct, this code applies to Parents, Coaches and Supporters who attend the games.
Children develop differently and at different rates, they react differently to the same pressures.
The Club is attempting to give all the members who play soccer a good and worthwhile experience, and the relationship with all adults at the matches and at training must be positive, sporting and be part of the example adults should be setting for the young members.

The Clubs ten point code of conduct is as follows:-

1. Young people are not playing to satisfy adult ambitions.
2. Young people are involved for their own enjoyment - not others.
3. Adults have a responsibility to encourage young people to play by the rules.
4. Teamwork and Effort are as important as winning. Everybody should accept losing without undue disappointment.
5. Do not allow the Clubs winning side to gloat over their victory.
6. Never ridicule or shout at a young person for making a mistake or for losing. Praise them or keep quiet.
7. Always set an example and applaud good play by both teams.
8. Never publicly question the referees decisions. Never doubt his or her honesty.
9. Help to remove all verbal and physical abuse in soccer.
10. Recognise the value and importance of the Coaches, who give up their time to help the young people.
